A well deserved thank you to the manager and Staff of Sambal Eastham for an excellent service yesterday and we cannot thank you enough for delivering all the short eats and 30 Lamprais parcels promptly. I asked all those people who attended my birthday celebration yesterday afternoon to give me their feedback on the quality of food that we served and all of them gave 10 out of 10. Tastes of all food were exquisite and can't wait to order more. My special thanks to you for arranging the delivery service as well and the driver is a pleasant young man who brought everything in to the house for us Well done!

If we have to review "Sambal Express" East Ham, we have to do it every visit and we are very lazy and procrastinate every time. This place is certainly a blessing for us Sri Lankans, South Indians and also for any other communities which is aching for spicy foods. Sri Lankans and South Indians who still has the original taste buds which were trained and developed long time ago of certain type of items such as Vadas and Sambal can never deny that this place is heaven sent and above all the affordability is a blessing for customers of all walk of life. We are greatful and wish you a very long stay and Happy and Prosperous Business.

Lovely shop, helpful staff though limited English at times. Delicious food, truly yummy. The large mutton rolls are worth the extra cost. Don’t forget the coconut sambol. In my opinion, the food is authentic Tamil food from northern Sri Lanka. We visit quite often and take food to family who also grew up in SL.
